We are often guided to clarify our future and our goals and “when?” is usually part of this framework. While it is useful to allow us to plan so that we work towards something that perhaps is not yet in reach, I have often wondered if this sets us up for success or makes us complacent. Does it provide us with clarity for what we want to achieve or does it only give us opportunities to pull out?

This is the path you are following now and it is likely not working. So why would you keep doing what you have already tried and expect a different outcome? It’s not just about changing your thoughts, otherwise you would have already broken the cycle.

You need a new neural pathway that has a different beginning so you can build from a new foundation. You can't build strong foundations on a ground that isn't solid enough.

As a strategist with a background in finance and business, many think I have lost my mind when I talk about being “in flow’. So, what does it mean to be “In flow”? In other terms, it is what athletes would term as “Being in the Zone”.

As children, we all dream. In fact, our dreams are so big that our imagination goes wild, we are innovative, courageous and take risks. These are skills that I would say most Entrepreneurs and Visionaries still possess. Their childhood dreams and actions continue into adulthood, so what changes in life that diminishes these skills for many? What is it that prevents so many people from dreaming big and pushes them to defaulting into what I would call a “normal” life?

Here are a few things to take away that may allow you to begin to accept and receive all that rest within you, because you do have it all, you may just not be aware yet of how incredible you are.

What is this mystical term that is bounced around and at times perceived to be a “non-tangible” and “non measurable” term? As I begin to equip you with the ability to set your own Mindset, know that this is a strategy and that there is a framework.

This is what we want to see from our leaders, from our Governments, and from each other. But if we are seeking it from everyone else we, as individuals, also need to be prepared to lead the way no matter who we are or what position we hold.

Like anything in life, we can look at things through our own lens and keep doing what we have always done, or we can take the opportunity to better understand how we contribute to the lives of others. 

“Self-Reliance” encapsulates in a very simple term what I help my clients to achieve. This is my over arching vision and whilst it is very simple to phrase, I am not naïve to think that what is required will take grit, determination, commitment, and collaboration. Striving forward even when those around you fear the enormity of the task or worse still are part of the obstacles reflects who you are.

Ever wonder what makes people who are successful, successful? If you asked them, they would say that they couldn’t put it down to any one thing, but they do all agree that the following 5 things certainly were major contributors.

How can we break the cycle of what we have been led to believe is the only way to be and begin again with a new perspective of knowing that the way forward is through a collective?

Most of you know that I am an optimistic yet realistic individual who believes that one personal can change the lives of many. Today has been another day where I have committed to doing more. The more aware and conscious I become, the more I know I am on my path of purpose with greater wisdom.

It may be easy to see the cost that you may need to invest in creating the future you want, but very few take the time to see the price you pay NOT investing in you and NOT doing anything.

This is a note to every reporter, journalist, person in the media, content creator, influencer or anyone else who has an audience. Please, please, please consider what you are putting out into the world and what you are asking young people, your children, girls, and boys to think about.

When you are hungry enough, you find ways to do what you need to do. You take risks because you cannot fail. There is too much at risk for you not to succeed.

Staying safe and doing nothing costs you time and money and perhaps also your peace of mind. Often that cost is greater than progress or change.

Sustainable success in today’s conscious world only occurs when ethics are built within each and every business unit and when that business embraces social corporate responsibility, environmental sustainability, fair labour practices, transparent governance and an ethical supply chain. 

It is crucial for governments, educational institutions, nonprofits, and businesses to collaborate and invest in initiatives that promote financial literacy, ensuring that communities worldwide can reap the benefits of a financially educated population. Together, we can build a more prosperous and equitable future for all.

Being Intentionally Conscious allows me to play to my strengths. I might be good at several things, but again, finding that pinhead on that needle allows me to find others who align in values to know my value, just as much as it allows me to know their value. This is how we play bigger and think limitlessly.

It’s essential to dig deep though. Clarity is not the first thing that comes to mind, and it certainly isn’t going to be the easiest path as it will require you to know and understand your inner self. It will require you to stay focused until you reach that “pin head on that needle”.
